BUBBLE HASH ROSIN
To make our bubble hash, we use the most resinous flower that our growers have to offer.
Our cannabis comes from local gardens clean, organic, and sometimes even vegan marijuana.
In order to get the tricomb glands off the flower, we jostle it in ice and pass the droppings through several stages of micron filters. This is the industry standard.
We've taken it a step further and make our ice in house with water that has been passed through a reverse osmosis water filtration system.
MAKING BUBBLE HASH
Here we submerge the plant material in ice and water so the resin glands freeze.
Aided by our gentle agitation, the frozen resin glands fall off the flower and go through layers of varying micron filter bags.
The material that is caught in the filters is the bubble hash.
Once all the tricomb glands have been harvested off the flower, it's time to remove any moisture.
For this we use our state of the art freeze dryer, which usually takes about 24 hours per batch.
After the bubble hash has come out of the freeze dryer, it's time to put it into a press bag.
Here, we make sure that the material is distributed evenly through the bag and then pre-pressed at room temperature.
The most important things to monitor at the press are;
- press plate temperature
- pressing pressure
- pressure ramp up
- pressing time
Each strain is tested to see what combinations of the above variables will produce the most quality yield.
